ICAS S.p.A. was founded in 1956 from the ambitious idea of Cav. Bruno Getto: he was the one who recognized and addressed a great opportunity, inventing and implementing new automated machines for the production of wirehoods.
1968
Business across borders: the partnership with HITE
ICAS S.p.A. enters the share capital of HITE S.A.
1969
NEW TECHNOLOGY AND A GREATER PRODUCTION CAPACITY
ICAS experience increases and new machines for the production of Free Belt wirehoods are introduced, with an improved production capacity of 120 wirehoods per minute.
1970
ICAS WORLDWIDE
Markets expand and ICAS lands in the US, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
1977
A NEW PARTNER IN EUROPE
ICAS S.p.A. inaugurates a new joint-venture with Philipp Schneider Gmbh & Co.
1987
DISTRIBUTION ABROAD BECOMES WIDESPREAD
ICAS France S.A.R.L. is established to provide an even better sales and distribution service for the French market.
2003
THE GROWTH IN NUMBERS AND TECHNOLOGIES
New latest generation machines to produce Free Belt wirehoods are introduced, resulting in an improved production capacity of 250 wirehoods per minute.
2008
PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION IN SOUTH AMERICA
ICAS Brasil Ltda is established as a new production and distribution unit covering the Brazilian market of cider and sparkling wines.
2013
NEW PERSPECTIVES
ICAS S.p.A. diversifies its business entering the capital of Pfefferkorn & Co Gmbh, major organisation in the production of injection mouldings of plastic materials.

ICAS, HITE AND THE ARGENTINA
Bozales ICAS – Hite Argentina S.A. is founded in partnership with Hite S.A., as a new production and distribution unit for the Argentinian market.

COVERING AN ENTIRE RANGE
ICAS S.p.A. keeps diversifying its business and enters the share capital of Relvas II S.A., leading business in the production of natural cork stoppers for wine.

THE OPENING OF A NEW BRANCH
A new ICAS branch is opened in Australia to better address an increasing pace in worldwide distribution.

ICAS S.p.A. has recently announced a new joint-venture with the multinational company Amorim Cork.
